Hey, guys--thanks for including me in the Class of '67 even though I left after 10th grade.  What fun to see all of your familiar names and faces again!  I've been living in Westport for 27 years with my husband and two (now adult) children.  I work full-time in Stamford for AmeriCares, a humanitarian aid and disaster relief NGO, running a program that makes medical donations to physicians going overseas on short-term medical trips.  A lot of my quilting friends like to donate quilts to AmeriCares for children overseas, hence the photo.

Larry and I have two girls who are both married and live in California. Alicia and her husband live in Sausalito and have a one year old daughter. and is expecting her second child next February.  Nikki and Gavin live in San Diego and have two daughters. Lar's "sorority house" keeps expanding! We are crazy about both our sons-in-law. So the three males have a great time when we all get together, four or five times a year.

After retiring from my financial advisory firm, Lar convinced me to start another firm with him during my "so-called" retirement.   I am able to play a lot more golf now and we are very fortunate be able to travel quite a bit.

From Don:
I earned a PhD from Penn State in 1983. Since then I have been a professor at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. I earned tenure around 1988 and was department chair for many years. For much of my time at Temple I focused on research and publishing. Now I mostly enjoy teaching undergraduates more than graduate students or doing research. Undergraduates have a lot more energy and interest in learning for learnings' sake. I have been married for about twenty years. My wife is a school teacher (now retired) for the Philadelphia school district. My son, who is now 18, is about to start college this fall. He will be at Temple studying history and political science. Though I could retire in a couple of years, I probably won't since I still enjoy teaching. I am very interested in restoring  vintage Porsches. I am almost finished rebuilding a 1969 911S right now. I am also very much into playing jazz guitar. Over the years I have become quite a history buff . I look forward to catching up with old classmates and especially those from our unbeaten track team.

After receiving a call "out of the blue" from Alan King, my curiousity was piqued, and soon escalated. What are those vague apparitions from my distant past up to? Attached is a photo of myself, wife Debra, and two daughters: Claire and Kate. I look bulkier than I am in reality. Sorry I have no before photo. Maybe I'll find something and scan it later.

Hi Classmates:
I have been teaching at a middle school in inner city Denver.  I am also in charge of a girls mentoring program for the 8th graders.  We moved to Colorado in 1992 and I really enjoy it here.  From my home I have a view of the Rocky Mountains.  The last few years have been challenging.  I got divorced and then two years ago my son had a horrific accident and is now a guadriplegic.  Justin is amazing and is now back to work full time as a systems engineer.  My daughter's husband is in his last year of an oral surgeon residency in the Air Force.  They presented me with my first grandchild, a boy, in December.  So, that made me very happy, needless to say.  My best to all of you.

After living in Atlanta, GA for 30 years we moved back to New England in 2004 as a result of my career.  Last year I was recruited by a new corporation to head up a new health plan contracted by the state of New Hampshire and Maine.  My husband Don is retired and is enjoying the fishing on Lake Winnepesaukee.  We just moved to Meredith NH in the Lakes region a month ago and are enjoying a beautiful summer.  I hope to get back into skiiing this winter now that we have moved nearer to the mountains. I have remained in close contact with Lynnie and Lorraine and used to see Creel and Kathy Reynolds when I lived in Georgia.  I hope we have a great turn out in September.

What I've been up to for the past forty years!!!...after a 13 year "on again/off again" courtship that started at DHS, Cindi Birchfield (DHS Class of 1968) and I married in 1978.  We settled in Woodbury, CT where we still live today.  We have two children-Laura-age 24 -is a nursery/preschool teacher; Matthew - age 20 - is a photographer.  My high school part time after school job as a draftsman for an engineering company has turned into my vocation.  For the past 42 years, I have been in the mechanical engineering field.  At present I am an Associate with Thornton Tomasetti, Inc., a large engineering firm based in NYC; I work out of the New Haven office.  My family still has our cottage on a lake in Maine where we spend as much time as possible each summer.......life has been good!
